Tales from the Backlot is a website idea that came to its creator, Brittany Thompson, one day while she was eating a philly cheesesteak. As she bit into the cheesy, beefy mass of goodness, she thought of how cool it would be if there was a website where people could post their own videos. We know what you're thinking, "What a random thought, and umm, didn't Youtube already do that?" Well, yes, they did! This was Brittany's next thought, "but Youtube is for everybody, anybody can grab a camera and press record. I want a site that is solely for the future filmmakers of the world; a place where we can truly showcase our talents, tell our stories, and let the whole world view our tales from the backlot". Two minutes and thirty-two seconds later, www.talesfromthebacklot.com was born. And the rest is history...in the making.
